There are major designated red light areas that the Bangkok sex tourist can head to, which are both safe and not entirely sleazy. In fact, even couples head to these areas to take in the atmosphere and eye-popping sights. You can sit and blend in with a beer or go whole hog and indulge.

Bangkok girls and bar scene
More than anywhere in Thailand, the decadence of Bangkok’s bar scene is all too evident. There are thousands of horny girls working the sex trade but it is all very relaxed and almost natural.
Ranging in price from low to high, girls in Bangkok can be had on the street, in standard beer bars, go go bars, in massage parlours and as escorts from pricey, online agencies. They are easy to pick up and you can go ‘short-time’ (an hour or two) or all night back at the hotel for a few thousand baht.
The best of Bangkok girls can be had in the main red light areas, including Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy (both on Sukhumvit Road) and the sleazier Patpong market area off Silom Road. The girls in these places are typically higher quality than elsewhere and have done it all.
